Men of Valor
The word “valor” means to display bravery and personal courage. During these times of satanic assault to annihilate men, the Men of Valor are striving to build spiritual strength, courage, honesty and integrity within the men of our ministry. Through the Holy Spirit ‘s power, the Word of God and fellowship with one another and others of like precious faith, these Christian virtues will be produced in us. As these qualities are produced in us, every man will rise and take his God-given place in the home, the church, the workplace and the community.
Music/Media Arts
Music was created to be a blessing to God and His people. Apostle Paul encourages us to “speak to ourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5: 19-20). It is clear from these verses that God has designed music to have spiritual impact in the believer’s life.
Help Ministry
The Helps Ministry of Abundant Life Christian Center is designed to be an encouragement to the church and a manifestation of God’s love to the Christian community. It is a ministry that is designed with an authentic desire to serve the Christian community. This is done by individuals accepting the call and will of God to be a servant to the people. The Word of God states in Mark 10:45: “For even the son of man did not come to be served but to give His life a ransom for many.”
Children of Praise
Abundant Life Christian Center Children’s Ministry believes that it is never too early to begin sowing seeds in the rich fertile soil of precious lives. It is the purpose of the Children’s Ministry to provide age appropriate bible centered lessons to teach spiritual truths, while laying a solid biblical foundation to promote spiritual growth and maturity. The ministry is committed to providing a curriculum with a combination of teaching methods. These methods include the use of fun-filled activities, stories, games and songs to communicate vital truths of the Word of God. Children’s Ministry provides children’s church for the ages of 4-12 years old and the infant and toddler ministry is for infant – 3 years old.
Outreach
Our purpose is to train members to evangelize their families, co-workers, neighbors and especially the community of Redford with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Outreach Ministry also has three major projects to impact efforts in the community and these are supported by fundraisers: Thanksgiving baskets, Christmas gifts, and the summer block party. Evangelism starts this February, held on Mondays for 10 sessions. Classes for training are on evangelism, demonology, discipleship and homosexuality. All are welcome to participate in these classes. Certificates are awarded to those who complete the training.
R.A.D.I.C.A.L.S Youth
The R.A.D.I.C.A.L.S. Youth ministry consists of youth between the ages of 13-18 years old. We strive to raise young disciples of Christ to fall in love with the Lord and commit themselves to serving the Kingdom. Our mission is to be and live the Kingdom every day and to spread Jesus’s love to everyone.
